Our appointment was at 2:30 p.m. at the Kaiser Medical Facility in Salmon Creek in Vancouver, WA. The ultrasound lasted about an hour, and we got to see everything to do with baby. We saw its kidneys, bladder, heart, ribs, spine, shoulders, everything! Everything except for a penis. That's right, we're having a girl! Take a look at the pictures. I've added some outlines too so it's easier to see what's going on.
Today we finally had our radiology ultrasound to see baby again. It's been 7 weeks since we've seen the baby, so we were pretty anxious to see it moving around and how much it's grown. It's also the ultrasound that we find out the sex of the baby. Pretty exciting stuff! Our appointment was at 2:30 p.m. at the Kaiser Medical Facility in Salmon Creek in Vancouver, WA. So I was way too tired to blog during that trip to New Orleans, but the whole thing went incredibly well, and now I'm thrilled to be back home.
The wife and I just drove around checking out local businesses to get inspiration on job possibilities, and we stumbled upon this awesome park off the Columbia River. Check out some of the pictures. After 4 years of waiting, I finally made it back to Rosario's Mexican Restaurant in San Antonio, TX to get the best molè on the planet. Can't wait!
After 817.5 miles and 12 hours of driving, we stopped in El Paso, TX and enjoyed a great nights sleep at the Hyatt Place. Got up at 5, and on the road again. San Antonio here we come!
Laura and I went out for breakfast this morning before work at Natalia's Cafe in Downtown Camas. Cute little spot on a picturesque street.
It's amazing how different everything feels going from September 30 to October 1. Beautiful sunny day to a nice foggy morning. This morning Laura and I woke up early to take the dogs on a walk, and we decided to go to the park across the street. With the leaves starting to change and the sun peeking through the trees, I had to take a picture. Having a great time at Petra House Mediterranean restaurant for our first date night, then either home for some Mad Max on the couch, or Maze Runner at our local Regal. Laura's working from home so I'm taking a break from unpacking to relax and settle in a little bit. |
